Someone mentioned the occasional difficulty of new security code thing when leaving comments. Well, that’s not really how we want to do things here at hellosputnik.com, so I’ve got a deal for you. I’m offering you the chance to register your very own user profile on this Web site. With it, you should be able to leave comments easily and without having to always enter your details on the form. Also, for those of you on public or shared computers, or if you’re just paranoid, notice that there’s a Login/Logout link under the heading called “Meta.”
Good night.

Driving home from work, I noticed the Chevron I spoke of in my last post has seen fit to raise prices again. So for all of you keeping track, let’s recap what we know so far:
Tuesday evening: $2.59. Wednesday morning: $2.69. Wednesday evening: $2.85.
I didn’t notice if there’d been any changes at the Exxon or Racetrack stations. What will the price of regular unleaded be at the Chevron Thursday morning? I’m going to go with $2.97. What’s your bid? Closest without going over wins. And no $1 guesses. This is for real, people; it’s not The Price Is Right.

Over the last few days, my site has been assaulted by spam comments. I was fed up with moderating them and looked for a solution on the Wordpress Plugins Database and found SecureImage. It generates a code that users have to enter in order to leave a comment. It’s simple and hassle-free. And so far, it works like a charm!

I would kill to write a story that had quotes like this one. Kill.
